Stay at Westdrift (an Autograph Collection Hotel)

Westdrift is perfect for travelers who wish to avoid crowds and touristic areas in exchange for a more authentic coastal LA experience. The hotel is situated in Manhattan Beach, an area synonymous for surfing, beach volleyball, and sunbathing. Guest can enjoy beach service (chairs, towels &umbrellas) arranged by the hotel, Thursday to Sunday as well as complimentary bikes daily.

Inspiring coastal art, soothing beachy tones, ocean air, and golf course views is the sense of arrival you experience at Westdrift. What we loved most was the relaxed and friendly welcome and service. I was embarrassed to have forgotten two items in my car. Our bellman made me feel at ease, he said “don’t worry, I will grab it for you” and minutes later he was back with my items and a friendly smile.

We stayed in what is called “Gather Suite”, it was more than enough space for our family of five. This spacious suite featured double queen beds a divider with a living space (sofa sleeper), dining nook and a spacious terrace that overlooked the golf course. It was so perfect it was hard to leave!
