Her Story
Dru Shepherd has built her career around creating experiences. Her background in creative production, live events, and operations taught her to anticipate needs, coordinate countless moving pieces, and turn an idea into something thoughtful and well executed. Bringing that experience together with her lifelong love of travel feels like a natural next chapter.
Her curiosity began at twelve, flying alone from Connecticut to Chicago and discovering a world much larger than the one she knew. It still shapes how she travels today. Before arriving, she reads books and watches films set in a destination, learns a few local phrases, and studies its neighborhoods, hotels, and restaurants. The planning is part of the journey.
When planning for someone else, Dru begins by understanding how they want the trip to feel. She then takes care of the details that allow them to be fully present, balancing thoughtful preparation with room for discovery.
For Dru, a journey is not a collection of reservations. It is an experience with a rhythm, a point of view, and a lasting sense of place.
Her own journeys include an engagement overlooking the Tokyo skyline, a wedding at Chileno Bay in Los Cabos, and a honeymoon through Capri and the Amalfi Coast, as well as time in Lake Lugano, Singapore, Amsterdam, and Barcelona.
She is especially drawn to hotels with a strong sense of place, coastal destinations, wellness, great food, and experiences that create a meaningful connection to local culture. For Dru, a great hotel becomes a temporary home and a gateway to everything around it.
